Please join us on Tuesday, December, 10 at noon in the Lounge.
Reminder, lunch will be provided and all are welcome!
Joan Porter

An enormous big Thank You to everyone who bought chocolate on Sunday. We may even need to place an extra order!
The plan is to have the chocolates available in the lounge after the Sunday services between now and Christmas with the exception of Dec 8 when we will host a Bake Sale along with Tamim's photo cards and small crafts provided by the Grandmothers Helping Grandmothers organization. For those of you who normally exit the church via the front doors, the lounge is very easy to find... simply follow the smell of the coffee! We will also have the chocolates available at the 2pm Christmas Concert on Dec 14.  If you haven't attended a Kerrisdale Christmas Concert in the past, this will put you into the true Spirit of Christmas!  The music, the choir voices and the Readings, all make for a truly unique and moving experience!  Admission to the Concert is free but donations are encouraged.  All donations will go to the Refugee Sponsorship Fund.
Speaking of donations, someone, who wants to remain anonymous, has offered to match all donations, up to $10,000.00.  To put that into perspective, this means that any individual's donation of $50.00 will net the Refugee Sponsorship Fund $100.00;  a $100 donation will become $200;  $500.00 becomes $1,000.00 etc, to $10,000.00 becoming $20,000.00.  Your donations will be used exclusively for the refugees during our sponsorship.
We are sincerely grateful for this individual's concern over the refugees' plight and the generosity toward the refugees' cause.

G-3 (Games, Giggles and Gab) will meet at Crofton Manor on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 2 - 3:30 pm.Join us for a fun time with the residents. For more information contact Marg or Bill Buschman through the church office. Phone at 604-261-1434 or email kpc@telus.net.
